That's th issue. I had no choice but to update. There wasn't any other option.

The screen brightness on the new samsung note8 is 1200 nits, but how does the phone perform with DJi go 4?

It works very well... no issues, runs flawlessly. The large bright phone screen is awesome outdoors The size is perfect for the Spark and Mavic Controller. It is overkill (So many features) as a display for DJI products but it certainly is the best phone for such of the Android brand at this time.

Works just fine but I would not use a daily driver phone with my drones -- just from personal experience. Dedicated device win's hands down.
