Do you need all 4 anti-drop pins for the camera to hold it or just the 2.

Only two pins should be installed.

Installing 4 pins can damage the gimbal mount on landing or low speed crash as the gimbal base is effectively in a fixed position, not flexing in the way 2 diagonal pins allow.
I understand the question though, the dji manual makes it look like you add a further 2 pins to the ones that are pre-installed.
