What is the DJI spark?

I'm really hoping for dji to release a racing drone as I'm yet to own one and in the market, but a lot of people are saying it's a selfie type drone which will be a big disappointment

Rey can you give us information regarding this? What market are the aiming to sell this too? Release date? Or you yourself don't know

Seen the leaked pics already, what I want to know is information regarding it

So much for the phantom 5 huh?
It'll be out at some point. We might see the Phantom 4 Advanced before that though...

The funny part is the pics have been leaked of the spark but no one knows **** about it, they just claim to know... as for the phantom 5 imo it's definitely in the pipeline I don't see them stopping their best selling family line. As for release dates for the p5?it's all speculation I dont think dji even know when this thing will hit the stores they might have a potential date but as we've seen with tech that will for sure change once it comes closer to that date so there is no definite time

so... this thing doesn't have a controller? So far none of the leaked images got the controller in the frame.

couple of things i note
1. the weight shows it as 190g, that is roughly .4 pounds, or right under the FAA registration limit.

2. unless the pictures just dont show it, i dont see a movidius chip which is their vGPU for obstacle avoidance. Which means either the drone is incomplete (as it has the slots for the obstacle avoidance) or it wont have obstacle avoidance.

3. its interesting and very apple-ish that it contains a USB-C port.

Don't forget about the battery and props.

How many times is Ray gonna repost the same pics when someone ask a question about it[emoji848][emoji23]

The images were took from a pre-product of DJI spark. It doesn't contain any battery and propeller. But it can turn it on with a mavic battery, and connected with DJI GO App through its Wi Fi function. I obtain this machine from an online second hand market in China.

Your full of it, you don't have **** I have seen these identical pictures leaked elsewhere before you posted then hours later you posted, I asked you some questions which you ignored because you didn't know

Also these are not leaks dji has allowed them to surface which is why you have not seen a controller yet... it seems very staged... from what I have heard it will be compatible with a remote and/or a smart phone

Sorry for my late reply. I just got the spark sample from a 2nd hand online store at about US$75. I think this pre-product is leak from DJI R&D Centre. Of cause I don't know the issue date of this product. I don't expect this pre-product can fly. So I try to disassembly and test it with other battery and dji go app. I only can turn it on but cannot start the motor. The gimbal, GPS and camera can function well. Camera image can display on my mobile but no battery information.
