Going the tripod route you would have been better off using the larger 14dbi tplink antenna combined with an 8dbi omni directional. Even better go with an LHCP helical antenna for exact polarization match with the P2V camera. Regardless of that nice clean setup none the less.

You should exceed 3000 ft
I can get past 3000 ft and all i have is an antenna on the repeater

You have to change your 5.8G antenna. Over 3000 feet keep control and vision very easy!
