I've been trying to get DJI to remove or amend some EWZ's around here.
On CYR's that are set as 9 km radius monsters (284 km^2) to zone out a 27 km^2 CYR they don't seem too sympathetic. I suppose their software is simply simple. ie: it's a point (lat/long) and radius and that's it.
But, on removing an airport that has been closed for nearly a year, they are slowly coming around - they asked for proof and I sent them a NAV CANADA notice.
And to reducing the radius of the EWZ's for non class C/D/E airports, they also seem to be listening, so I sent them links to the TC drone rules.
Fingers crossed. In two areas I like to fly that are just on the edges of some EWZ's I can get several warnings per flight. It's quite annoying.
