When using my goggles on the Phantom 4 I get a warning that I have reached max. altitude (less than 100 feet). I have the max. altitude set on my bird at 500 meters when using my I phone 7. Has anyone else had this issue and solution?

You need to connect your Phantom to DJI GO before connecting the DJI Goggles in order to lift those altitude and distance restrictions (when flying with only the goggles). See more details in this video:
I appreciate your help. However, that really sucks that I have to reattach my phone to the DJI app overtime I change the battery or end my flight.
