DJI FC40

I have a DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus with an FC40 Camera. And I saw that DJI created an app called DJI FC40 which like DJI vision, allows you to get an FPV view and control the camera, but DJI FC40 is for the phantom 1! Although, I was wondering if it would work for my P2V+ because it is made for the same camera my drone has?

The FC40 is limited to the FC40 app, it can't be used with the Vision app or DJI Go etc.
