In case you guys do not know, as of today DJI Care now also covers water damage. A very nice addition to DJI Care Refresh plan and for my Mavic.

Whoa, that's great. I just found this in the DJI Care Refresh FAQs section also:
I wonder if the battery is covered too for water damage.
This brings up images in my mind of scuba diving to find my drone 50' down, at the bottom of the ocean, just to get a refresh unit.
It wouldn't surprise me to see scuba retrieval services being created very soon....

I wonder if you already have purchased a care refresh policy are you now covered or is this change for new policies only
It is retroactive, I had purchased DJI Care refresh a few days before when I activated my Mavic and I am now covered. Even if you had a water damage claim and had to pay out of pocket for the repair they are offering to reimburse.
Plenty of ways water damage can occur without completely losing the drone. Pools, rivers, snow, etc.
