Do the directional controls get easier with practice? I mean when your not facing the read of the bird and you need to adjust your directional controls.
Like any hand-eye coordinated effort it takes practice to learn how to transition and fly nose-in or towards you.
Try to continually be 'in the cockpit' so the controls remain relative to your forward motion.
I'm still getting used to controls as well but I feel myself getting better and more comfortable and smooth with every flight. Just keep going up and progress at your own pace as you begin to get more advanced in your efforts.
