Picked up an old P1 in like new condition. It flies great, but I cant the return home to work. I think it must have been turned off by the previous owner.

I downladed Assistant 2.4 but cant get it to connect. I turn the Tx on with both switches up. Connect to USB, then plug the battery in. There are no driver issues with the PC, I can see it connected properly. However, no activity lights in the Assistant, and the LED module shows a dim solid green light.

Is my LED module bad? Should I get one like this one on enay? See pic. Is there a way to make my own cable to go directly from the PC to the FC? Thanks in advanced.

On Windows 10 try a USB 2 port not USB 3, Check your USB cable. Check a COM port with the name: "
DJI USB Virtual COM" goes up when you plug your Phantom.
If not, reinstall the DJI driver after you have authorized the installation of unsigned drivers.
good luck.
