Dark screen

Can anybody tell me how I can lighten up the screen when flying FPV on my ipad. I got the ipad brightness as bright as it can go. The screen is so dark and the only way to fly is to change the iso settings on the camera wheel until it is bright enough to see. But when I do this and I take pictures it is just a bright white picture. is there somewhere to brighten the screen without compromising pictures and video?

This is common and many tablets are the same. That is one drawback of tablets, while they are convenient, they were not made for bright sunlight.
1. avoid mid-day sun if possible
2. use a good sun shade
3. shadow the screen with your body if the sun angle is right
3. The future hdmi adapter will allow goggles.
4. Stand in the shade
