You are correct! However, you can fly in a National Forest, two different entities. With that said you cannot fly in what they call a wilderness area.

That is interesting. It looked like a monolith from the video, after reading I can see how it is a plateau. I'd love to visit some of the arches in that area, but won't happen.
Not really. You just have to spend a little time up front researching your area. When you travel you spend a little bit of time researching that area. I'd guess 30 minutes MAX when we travel to film for clients.
