How many of you have repaired you own and how did it go ?

I flew my P4 into the tree tops an it dropped 60ft onto a pile of rocks.Really busted up bad.
I priced out the parts and was well over $500.
Sent in a repair ticket to DJI. They sent a pre Paitl ticket to send the bird in, gave me a $258 estimate, asked for PayPal, I sent the money and the P4P was back to me a few days later. Working better than before. If it's really screwed up I wouldn't even mess with it.....unless you're really into that stuff.
