I used a new Flytrex Core 2 for several missions and it worked fine. Then I discovered the new v4 firmware with file dating, and loaded it successfully. I have had sporadic success recording missions. Sometimes they record to the (Flytrex purchased) Micro SD, sometimes they don't (The FPV file is created without usable data) and sometimes there is just the first few seconds of the mission. According to the user manual everything is stored on the on-board memory and is backed-up. My experience is that when the backups are moved to the Micro SD, all the files have 0 bytes. I'm not getting anything backed-up!

I tried to revert to firmware v3. The firmware indicates it is loaded, but on startup I do not get the proper light flashes, and no recording is accomplished.

I've e-mailed Flytrex support, gotten a response that somebody would reply, and NO RESPONSE.

Is my Flytrex Core 2 defective??
