Continuous shots Litchi/Raw, faster than 5 sec?

I'm currently experimenting with hyperlapses, and am looking for any way to decrease the delay between shots.

Litchi seems, for p4p, to have minimum interval 5 seconds which means two minutes shooting for 1 second footage.

Going jpeg is of-course a alternative, but for sunset/sunrise this is more or less impossible (with manual exposure for minutes and no way to recover anything).

I see that the panorama capture has a much higher frequency (in the go software), so is there a way to override this for LitchI?

Litchi probably has that limitation on DNG's to allow writing time of the larger files to the SD card, I'm just guessing there because I've never done RAW with timelapses I usually use JPGs for them.
