Compass calibration...first or last

My P2 manual does not specify any particular sequence other than after MC/autopilot power on.

Therefore it doesn't matter. Just more worry over something for nothing.

But don't take my word for it :lol: .

Well, one stated earlier that doing it after gps lock has no effect ...in so many words

Being less knowledgeable, less experienced and probably more cautious than other folks on these forums, I started a voodoo routine with the Phantom 1. Place it on level ground, plug in the battery and leave it alone until it finished flashing green sequences. Then stuff the wires in, close the door and do the compass dance.

I've continued a similar voodoo with the Phantom 2. Turn it on, wait for two series of green flashes and then do a compass dance for the 1st battery of a series of batteries from a same location.

So course, home, compass, although the guides vaguely allude to compass first.
