Colour changing the Phantom

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum and thought i would share my Phantom with you all.
I decided to use plastidip to paint my Phantom as i could peel it off when im ready to change to another colour.

I decide to make it permanent!! So I paint it with car paint and turned out very well. Here are my instructional videos on how to do it

Has anyone else experienced a drop in GPS signal after they painted the top shell? I painted my Phantom, being what I thought was fairly careful not to get it too thick, and now I'm consistantly getting 2-3 fewer satellites than I used to in my familiar flying spots.

Wondering if its it paint, or if I screwed something up with the GPS antenna when I reassembled.

If there are metallic constituents in the paint it can act as an attenuator.

It would depend on the amount of metals contained and the thickness (coats).
