What is best material to clean the screw on lens/filter on the P4? I alwsys seem to have flares in sunlight, like the lens is dirty or oily

Flares in sunlight is not uncommon -- even for a clean lens. Is it actually oily and dirty?

I use this lens pen to clean my lens filters.

I do not believe it is. I use the same gear i use on my Nikon, but I get the flares.

I use the same lens pen that msinger uses.. I've always kept a couple in my DSLR camera kit.

You can also use microfiber cloth. It's very effective.

Although dirt can exacerbate lens flare it is not the only cause.
