Cheap FLIR Cameras

$349 for a FLIR Camera in a small package. Hopefully this will mean cheap and easy way to add FLIR camera to our drones. Would be useful for search and rescue operations as well as fire fighting applications.

It's quite low res though... 80 x 60 pixels...

For it to be useful to me it needs to be at least 320X240ish with a 30hz video. Anything lower res or slower frame rate and it's just not very useful.
This tech is getting cheaper but still the cost of the copter to get useful imaging.

lower res then video cameras yes, but for thermal you dont need to be able to see the pimple on someones face 100m away like in 4k. res of 640 lines is quite common and useful
