Chatsworth Park South

Anecdote: As a young man, I hiked there a lot. One hot afternoon, me and some others went up a rather barren trail that led right between two huge boulders. Perfect for hand assist for the climb. One even had a nifty hand hole right in the side of it. I was the last of 4 people to go through the boulder pass. I put my hand in the hand hole and as I pushed myself up, I felt something cold and smooth as silk. It was a rattle snake, and I definitely woke it up. The snake moved but never rattled nor struck.
Neat place! Very unique landscape.
