That's why I am asking. I seen a post that said DJI doesn't recommend doing that , but I can't find anything in writing to verify that.

DJI recommends not charging a Phantom 3 battery and remote controller at the same time (in the Phantom manual). I've never seen that recommendation for the P4 (or higher).
