Charging Batteries in the Car

Old PC power supplies? Cool! You should post a how to with some pics! How to you regulate the voltage and adapt for car use?

Waiting on some parts to come at the moment, not going to be using pc power supplies. For the car I'll be using some constant current boost converters to boost from 12v to 18.4v

I bought a 3 outlet with 2 USB port power inverter from Pilot Truck Stop and it works great. It was on sale for $25 and it is the 150W one since the home charger I have is a 100W. It takes a few minutes to come on steady, but when it does, it charges about the same as at home.

For you guys using the off brand ones, is that safe? They don't do any damage to the batteries?
