Hi! quick question
suppose I have to change the battery because it's dried out. is the phantom going to power down? Will I have to wait for satellites and ready to fly confirmation again once I connect a new battery?

Yes. You are starting over.

Yes. You are starting over.

Any way to avoid it? using a dual mount cable?

Regards

If you use a dual battery with a split cable you can maintain the power while changing batteries. Just replace them one by one.

BTW, if the Phantom is still warm and just powered down, once powered up with a fresh battery it takes only about 20 seconds to have all lights green again. So perhaps it's not an issue at all.
