Change to F mode without S1 switch

Does anyone know if there a way to change the phantom 3 to F mode without the remote?

The S1 switch on my controller is broken and I was wondering if there was an alternative way to access the intelligent flight modes required to use Litchi.

No replies so far - so presumably there is no other way. You have a P3S or similar, I guess.

Looks like you'll have to replace the S1 switch and it's not an uncommon problem. Some of these search results (magnifying glass, top right) may help you.

I ended up replacing the controller.
I found a pre owned one for £20 on eBay.

Cheap enough and you have some spare parts now... ;-)

It's a drop dead simple replacement. Four screws to open the remote, three wires to solder, quick and easy.
(Just posting for those coming later and seeing this)
