I'm looking for a reasonably priced case for my P3S, that will fit into a typical overhead compartment on an airplane. No way would I send it through baggage. I've read where the size limit is determined by the total of the width, length, and depth, not to exceed 45". Any ideas out there?

That's going to be a tough budget to meet if you're looking for a hard case. The MCM hard case might work for you depending on which airlines you fly. The inside of it is a solid piece of cubed foam. You pluck out the little cubes to create compartments for your Phantom, remote controller, batteries, etc.
