in case of accident, the plastic prop would flex and brake. The carbon fiber one will take much more, which means that this energy will be passed to the motors. No good....
I doubt that on such short propeller it would make any difference, but if it does a more flexible one would absorb some of the kinetic wind energy, thus minimizing the effect of gusts and keeping the flight more stable
OEM props on a P4 are really good and absorb lots of load. But I can understand Fancher using CF props on his big birds, he needs them to move the furniture and tow stranded vehicles!
