Cannot get Vision remote to connect to Mac

Can someone please help. I have tried everything but cannot get the Mac P2 assistant to recognise the remote controller. I have no idea what firmware the controller is on. Have updated to latest firmware for everything else and need to know that I am not going to have compatibility issues. Any ideas please?

You can not upgrade the controller via a Mac computer. The controller has to be done on a windows computer. If you have bootcamp and a copy of windows you can run your Mac as a windows computer or use a program that allows you to run windows in Mac. You have to download the RC assistant for windows and use it for the controller for firmware upgrades.

The Mac download will only allow you to upgrade the Phantom itself.
