It doesn't sound like you lost the signal between the RC and bird but the blowhole caused the bird to lose it's view of enough satellites to sustain P-mode. It would switch to atti mode at that point and drift. Why would this not enter into rth mode
Why did not go into rth modeIt doesn't sound like you lost the signal between the RC and bird but the blowhole caused the bird to lose it's view of enough satellites to sustain P-mode. It would switch to atti mode at that point and drift.
I thought that's why you are supposed to turn on GPS when you are inside flying because it would just fly straight up when it lost GPS and go home I thought that's what mine would do I have a video of other people flying this whole how do you think they had got away with itNo RTH once GPS is lost. Bird doesn't know where it is and where to find home.
Your bird lost it's view of enough satellites flying down into the hole so it was blind, it didn't know where it was and has no way to go anywhere automatically. When it's blind like that it swaps to atti mode and will drift with the wind unless you manually control it.Why did not go into rth mode
