Hi Guys... newbie here... first post.
So I just took the plunge and bought the Phantom 1... a GoPro and the Zenmuse gimble.
I took it out of the box and went for a test flight and all worked well - BEFORE i installed the Zenmuse gimble.
Then I followed the steps online and added the zenmuse H3 2D gimble.
I do not want to fly it with the gimble on until I have gotten confident at flying without... too much risk for what I paid for the Zenmuse.
The problem is, when I took off the gimble after installation and went to test fly it as is (without gimble) the craft took off and immediately started to spin out of balance and crashed every time.
Is it not possible to fly without the gimble once the brains have been soldered onto the board?
I'm just wondering if it now thinks the gimble is attached and is somehow compensating for the weight of something
that is not there?
thoughts? advice? feedback?
