I am going to be adding some weight to my P3A (Flytrex, landing gear, gimbal guard). I have no use for the positioning sensors and have disabled the function in the Go App. Can I unplug and remove the entire module or will it screw up the electronics?

Unsure how the aircraft will react without the VPS being connected but your Lightbridge board & fan will be exposed with it removed. Perhaps weigh the VPS module & see how much it will affect flight times? Even if you remove the module itself it may be worth retaining the shell to protect the Lightbridge board.
