I didn't think you could get refresh on a second hand drone. Like I said refresh runs out in a month so not really worries about that since I won't get to use it till mid december as I'm going away on holidays next week. If something did happen I either get it fixed here or claim it through my insurance and pay $300 excess.
Sounds good, I'd check out the camera and gimbal on the second hand bird, a module replacement in that area is expensive, for an Australian warrantied unit about 1200 aud
DJIP4-63 P4Pro Gimbal Camera
Check for gimbal noise, a camera that is not pointing straight and makes sure it moves smooth on the vertical axis up and down
From a body perspective , I'd check out for micro cracks on the underside of the arms in the vent area.
Test out the visual position sensors (VPS) via the onscreen indicators
Check full connection to the RC and the battery of the RC,
Check condition of the flight batteries, in the app you can see how many times they have been charged
Check to see if they work on the charger and can charge
Check for battery looseness on installing in the AC, sometimes a battery clicks in but then can fall out due to warping of the body shell
Check for gps satellite connection, should get 10 or 11 connected easily
Take some movies and photos to check play back
Bring your device and check how that works with the
P4P, actually hook up the unit you want to use so there are no susprises
