The point is how much freedom are you willing to keep giving up? Where does it end? It's a slippery slope man. What if the big gov decided we had to "register" every material purchase over $100? What would you say to that? I mean the argument could be made that anything could be used in a manner that puts the public "at risk". Better to know who owns what right?
Someone made the point that the big gov doesn't have the resources to do this. I agree, it's going to be a cluster f@ck. Think about it. You sell your drone and have to go trough the same thing you do for selling a car? How are they going to keep up with this? It will be a massive burden on the owner, buyer and big gov to keep everything straight.
Once law enforcement gets wind of this they'll by default ask for registration papers (I keep thinking of socialist countries here). Most law enforcement see drones as a nuisance. You're flying, they see you, "registration papers please". It will be a massive pain in the *** and we will be TAXED in order to pay for the whole Ponzi scheme.
