Brand new unit keeps flashing yellow

Hi
I just received my unit, Phantom 2
It keeps flashing yellow
Remote is fine, new batterries
I have disconnected the camera
but i cant seem to be able to get it started

help please

I have read that, Remote Controller Lost Signal

i looked that up and the phantom should have a button at the bottom of it, but mine doesnt

I am not sure if i have to rebind, if it is the controller, or the unit

...did you update the software? is your switch flipped to gps?

i pressed the button
Flashed red, then stopped and it is red now

Software up to date
both switches are up

it seems like the transmitter isnt working...
thats what it feels like
