At first it sounded like a bad motor bearing but if you watch closely and listen the sounds are coincident with the movement of the camera (if you exclude the one cat fart). I would check the camera gimbal manually for rough spots by slowly rotating the gimbal in all directions and feeling for rough spots or drag.
You're right - it's the camera gimbal. If i use the remote to rotate the camera pointing down, it starts making that sound. I did try moving the gimbal by hand while it was powered down and it felt smooth in all directions.
According to someone else on the dji forums, this is a firmware issue something to do with the gimbal sensitivity. They have a beta firmware that's supposed to fix the issue. I contacted someone at DJI to find out about that.
