As a total noob to this world would someone talk batteries to me in layman’s terms, my FC40 runs a 2200mah, 11.1v 20c and that’s as much as I know so my questions are :-

1, can I run a larger mah ( I.e. 4000 ) battery and will it be better or worse
2, is the 20c critical, as they don’t appear to be too common

Thanks in advance

mah is just capacity, the more the merrier. Just means it'll last longer.
C is the constant discharge rate and even though i'm not really clued up on it, 2200mah 20C gives 44amp, so with a 4000mah you'd be looking more at ~10C rating? Which is maybe why 4000s with 20c are like you say, not too common.

Maybe someone else can explain it better.
