  • I have also run a magnet around the compass to no avail. I have already had the drone connected to the PC and gone into' tools' in software to set imu and waited for the requested 5 to 10 minutes. Also to no avail. It does nothing except for the gimbal to keep on trying to set itself up to whatever.
    Can you help? PLEASE??
All color lights start running, after which I switch the S1 up and down 6-8 times. Light after going through 360 deg turns etc shows green (2 of at a time), yet the motors does not start. There is a mere movement coming from the gimbal occasionally..
    Hi there
i am desperate for some assistance here. Bought into a second Phantom1 - first flew into an aloe! Anyway, this one, all the way from Ontario, is a few thousand miles from South Africa where I live. Going through all start up procedures and still she does not fire up. After switching on transmitter, I then connect battery to drone.
In the video I had L2 at 9.7V (zero line loss), and I think the lowest cell (alarm voltage) was at 3.4V (the actual voltage). The beeping was a bit late, as when starting to descent the Level 2 hit because of voltage drop on the rough landing (stabilization) and I hit the ice :D

No FPV. Could be some day. It is difficult to position correctly, perspective at distances... Seems like the drone is futher away than it is. I only nailed the bridge this time, but went short on flying below it, the same for crossing the lake. Getting used to the controls also take time.

At first the sticks felt really aggressive, and the yaw is still hard to control well. Oh, getting less vibration: use roll/pitch gains like 85 for 8045 props, lower for 9". Low gain = much better at hi speed.

Too low gain and it can get out of control and does not handle gusts. For higher wind gain of 100 is ok, but shakes at high speed.
I get an audible alert when I should get down, before the auto landing kicks in. I want to keep that protection feature enabled, as it also gives the red blinking as a warning. The level 2 just cannot be set really really low, 9.5V is the bottom.
