Autopilot for Phantom Beta

Hey everyone-

We have been hard at work on the next version of Autopilot for Phantom (1.2) and we are ready to start the beta test. Send an email to [email protected] if you would like to participate - we would love your feedback!

Features that will make it into this version:

• Data logging (settings, telemetry, controls, commands)
• Point-of-Interest for several modes, including Focus, Hover, Follow, Orbit and Mimic
• Updated status screen to show telemetry while looking at the camera and map
• Constant altitude reference - useful if your device has no barometer and you know that you will not be changing altitude

Features that may make it in this version:

• 100% power output
• Dynamic home point
• Waypoint mode

Note: This is for iOS only right now, but an Android version is in the works if you are interested in that beta as well.

P.S. My apologies if you already saw this post in the P2V thread. It was accidentally posted there, but you do actually need a P2V+ due the limitations with the DJI SDK.

DHP, sweet!! Also would waypoint mode enable saving of waypoints to allow repeating the same flight at a later time? That would be super handy.

The long term goal is to create a mission-planner on the website, which would save all the waypoints for later use.
