Automatic Photos During Flight

Hi all, new here, and new to the Phantom and drones. Loving it so far!

I'm trying to understand why during some flights, when I look back at my flight logs, there are some (usually bad) photos that have been taken automatically by the phantom, and not by me. It doesn't happen during every flight though.

Can anyone please explain this to me?

They are a thumbnail snapshot taken for the log. I assume it's to assist if you try to make a claim to DJI about something they have a little more evidence of the event. Also so you can view the log and have a bit of an idea of that flight.
