ARGtek amid new firmware updates?

Hey! New 3S owner here and I'm wondering, since I know there's been some turbulence with mods surrounding later firmware updates, how the ARGtek mod is holding up for the 3S in 2018. I live in an area populated with a medium density - a town north of Denver. What could I be expecting?

I'm not aware of FW issues that are related to antenna mods.

People seem to like the ARGtek but the ITELITE DBS is a better antenna, although more expensive.

I've been running 1.9.2 and the Argtek for months with no issues.

Yes I left the argtec antennas behind and I’ve got to say the ITELITE DBS are worth the extra investment. As long as you keep your direction on tab the distance and signal is very strong along with video. Just had to add to the gentlemen’s positive feedback
