My 8gb tablet has no memory left. I have an SD card and tried to move the app to it but it's disabled (is that the case for you Androids?). I'm running 4.2 I believe. Is there a way to move the app or at least the cached files to the SD card?

You cant move the cache, but you can reduce or remove it completely. And make sure its set to delete at whatever point.
You can trick your device into thinking the SD card is the default install location. I wouldn't suggest doing that though. The app is going to perform best when it's on the internal storage.

I wish there was an option to store the cache in SD. How do I manage the cache? IE delete older than 1 week or keep last 5 or something similar?
Start the app.. go to camera and hit the four dots icon in the top right corner. At the bottom of the window that opens should be a section titled VIDEO CACHE. Only 2 options and a manual clear cache button
