Alternative Gimbal Available?

I want a Phantom 2. I have a Go Pro Hero 2. I'm told the H3-2D can't hold a Go Pro 2.
Any alternatives on the market? What if a new "Go Pro 4" hits the market? We may be stuck again.

Just thinking out loud.

Unlikely to see a new Hero for at least another 6 months (likely more given the recent release of the +).

Feiyu Tech FY G3 is a good bet and while designed for the H3, will hold the Hero2 fine (you just don't use the supplied mount). The G3 is REALLY tough and its motors cope with mismatched balance very well. See their own torture test:

It suffers a bit from roll drift at the moment but we (a few owners) are in direct contact with Feiyu Tech via an RC groups thread... http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2017438

They are looking at it and have responded well on past fixes.

They have just released the Phantom mount for it and you can tilt the angle without needing to use the controller (has 2 buttons).
