HI everyone!
I'm here to ask an advice.
Phantom 4 advanced price today 945 euros
P4P 1240 (second hand) and new 1600.
Do you think by your experience that is better wait until price of the P4P gets down or I can go for the advanced one? The differences of the sensors really justify a such big difference of price?

I have the Pro, I use it on trails while ATVing, and my kids like it when they’re running around. It avoids trees and such on all sides. I’m not sure what the Phantom 4 has for sensors.

Well then you have a use for the sensors then although I wouldn’t count on 100% reliability with foliage...

Yeah, the sensors are not perfect. It really depends on your need. When I’m trail riding the trail is usually the width of a four wheeler/side by side so the p4p would be above the trees following and it’s Buggy.

The P4A only has front sensors. I have the P4P, Mavic, Spark and I1 Pro. My P4P is my go-to drone now, love it. I did have an incident with my Mavic Pro in the Spring (the Mavic only has front sensors too), I was doing a Reverse-Away shot and thought I was clear of a really tall tree... I wasn't, in this case rear sensors would have most likely saved me... Just my 2 cents.

I’ve had two issues and I’ve owned the p4p since the end of September. First I was flying on a trail there was no wind, when the wind started I headed back some how a gust of wind blew it right into a tree 30feet up. I was thankful a gentlemen climbed up and grabbed it for me. The other incident I was in Florida recently, I was flying about 70feet up and about 800 feet away. I had a battery error occur and the thing was going to land next to a gator area. Thankfully I kept it moving towards me and I landed it. I don’t know what to do with the battery since it gave me an error I’m afraid to use that battery.
