I have been looking around and haven't really seen the answers to the long list of questions I have. If it has already been covered somewhere, sorry.

Under the update section, it list all of the different things that can be updated, I only know what the GPS and Battery actually are. What is the Main Controller, Zen IMU ext? Obviously I don't need to know any of that to fly it and take videos, but I would like to know.

Is there somewhere I can look to learn all about the PT2 program? I just noticed the RC calibration section under basic... I thought you calibrated the transmitter in the RC program? I have been looking around YouTube for a full explanation of everything, but I figured asking a bunch of people who fly everyday would be the smarter option. Finally, what does everyone put under Flight Limits? Default or is everyone imputing around the same limits? I know its a ton of question and they might have all been answered in 100 different topics, but I wasn't having any luck finding all of my answers.

Hey Cody,

1) Main Controller ( MC ) is the main circuit board
Inside the phantom

2) IMU = Inertial Measurement Unit
It takes readings from:
1) compass ( where you are in magnetic earth )
2) accelerometer ( measures momentum in straight lines
( up-down, forward-reverse, side-side ) movements
3) gyroscope ( measures spinning motion ) like a record spins on a player.
It takes the values on 3 axis each ( x, y, z. ) and creates a MOD VALUE.
MOD= MODUUS ( another term for absolute value )

First you calibrate controller ( Tx) through RC ASSISTANT, and do any firmware
Updates as well, then you go to PC ASSISTANT, to calibrate Tx to phantom, and do
MC and other firmware updates there as well!

Flight limits are fine as default. You adjust if you do not want to fly
Out of line of sight ( LOS ), if you want to fly further than LOS,
leave as default, or increase parameters, this will be solely up to
You, and what you are trying to achieve with your flight!

Hope this helps,

Take care, fly safe!

Thanks, that answers all of my questions!
