Help Please: Amazon has all sorts of these props that say they are genuine OEM DJI 9450 props but at all sorts of prices... I would like to get these props by prime delivery for a wedding Saturday. Any advice on where I can get a good price on a set of 9450's for my Phantom 1?

Also: Do I need to balance the props if they are brand new and added to a brand new Phantom 1 version 1.1.1?

Change any of the settings with assistant software in regards to thrust etc?

Thank you very much for the help!

Thanks for the info! Did this set require you to drill some shavings on inside of prop elbow to fit P1 or did you put them on PV2?

I put them on a P1 with no mods or shavings.

Buying them "direct" from DJI at $6 per pair comes with a $20 shipping charge. Ouch.
Well, let's say you buy 4 sets of "conventional" 9450s from Amazon w/ free shipping at $30/set = $120, or 4 sets of these at $12 = $48 + $20 shipping from dji = $68... still a good deal.

Fair enough. I did not check to see if the DJI shipping charge is indeed quantity independent (i.e., the dreaded "handling" fees), but there is something ethically unsavory about advertising a low price and then gauging the consumer with shipping charges. Stinks of eBay.

I purchased one set of Zeagoo 9450 props on Amazon.

They fail the most important spec ---> attachment to the Phantom 3.

One pair only threads on a little more than one full turn. The other pair threads on 5 full turns (all my genuine DJI props thread on at least 6 full turns).

Of the 4 props delivered, two are CW and two are CCW. The red stripe is painted on the ends of the top sides only. Overall finish is good.

Seeing other concerns about weight and flex I still checked these out:

Prop masses are: 11.49, 11.51, 11.42, 11.59 grams. Total of 46.01

For reference my two sets of genuine DJI 9450 props are 12.3 +/-0.2g

I also checked prop for flexing since this seemed to be a complaint/concern for other non-DJI props.
I used a rig that applied 25, 435 & 1050 grams and then checked deflection at the hub. See the photo for the rig. The weights are 205g each. The blades rest mid-point on each support (127mm spacing for 240mm (9.4") prop length). 25g is the mass of my prop balancing rod and an old prop acting as a nut). This small weight steadied the prop and gave my reference point. 435g is about 1/3th of the mass of the Phantom 3. 1050g is my calculation of force at full upward thrust. Deflection was measured using a precision calipers from the prop hub based on the 25g position.

Figure 1: Prop Flex Rig with 435g weight.

Prop Flex Results:
Prop# 1 2 3 4
435g 1.3mm 1.3mm 1.2mm 1.4mm
1050g 3.0mm 3.1mm 3.0mm 3.2mm

For reference, Genuine DJI 9450 props deflect 1.1mm & 3.1mm +/-0.1 under the same conditions.

Conclusion:
These props weight slightly less than genuine DJI and flex slightly more.

Anyone is welcome to comment on this method with improvements or faults.
