Well, everyone should. Some of the posts are so poorly written they are hard to understand. If we received a dollar or a pound if we were the first person to post an answer as if posting was a race, there would be some reason for it. Is it really that hard to look over your post for errors before you click "submit?" The only real excuse is if English is not your first language. Then it is OK. I am sure more than one person here, after reading a post, thought "what did they ask?"
good grief it was supposed to be a little light humor, not derail the thread. Anybody who can't be bothered to use proper grammer deserves a little ribbing and 1 small pic is pretty minor. he even edited the title how about we calm down and move on? 
that 5.8Ghz suspension in the UK is huge! wonder how long it will last... how do they enforce stuff like that? for example our FAA / FCC doesn't have active police so there's no way they can actively enforce certain laws, they just tack on violations if there's an accident or other crime but they don't actively seek out violators (of certain things).
But in the UK they drive around with vans and scanners trying to find people pirating cable... are they that draconian about stuff like this also?

The reality is it's pretty much unenforceable even if it is indeed true (there's nothing within the news section of the CAA). The CAA have neither the resources nor funding to go after all the ones who may or may not be infringing current legislation. Despite the technology that may be claimed to exist, there's not a myriad of vehicles driving around the country looking for spurious radio traffic. How to discern a domestic wifi router from a wifi transceiver used for RC purposes?

Just like there are no TV detector vans - In over 60 years there has not been ONE SINGLE prosecution brought by evidence supplied from a TV detector van.... That's because they never existed.
Governments have systematically cut budgets year on year, do you really think they are going to fund a fleet of vans/detector men to go around the UK and leap on people flying toys around?

As I understood it the suspension only applies to those who use drones for business use ? It never mentioned recreational use, but as stated how on earth do they enforce it. the good old days of the TV detector vans springs to mind lol.
Anyway, thread aside, on an intersting technical level if there was a total ban on using 5.8GHz anyway for everyonee, what the technological response be for those who know about these things ??? Intriguing problem maybe the tech bods can answer ?

I love the way they put the CAAs phone number at the bottom - they HATE dealing with phone calls.
