With the recent introduction of the lower priced Ruko RID module, the Holy Stone RID module is now being sold for only $41.99 here on Amazon. And if you're an Amazon prime member, you'll also get free same-day or one-day shipping.

Holy Stone normally sells their RID module for between $60 - $90 (depending on where you shop). So, this is a great buy if you're in need of an RID module and have been eyeing up the Holy Stone RID module specifically.

Looks like a great deal!
Will this work on a P4Pv2+ ?
The Amazon site doesn't list the P4Pv2+ as a fit.
Where would I attach the RID on the drone?
The P4P V2 (V2+ and straight V2) has updated firmware that allows RID.
Curious, have you chosen not to install it or?

And just a heads up.. I see the Ruko RID is selling on Amazon for $34. With 4 1/2 star reviews (63 to date), it seems like a viable option.

In the past when I update firmware, I encounter problems. Therefore, why update something if the old version works just fine. No intention of being snarky, just my thoughts
I understand "if it ain't broke" theory, and not judging. Just didn't know if you were aware. Suppose if it were me, I'd be researching the firmware update for issue's, then decide between the lesser of two evils - placing the module on the landing gear of the P4P, which is where everyone seems to be placing them on V1's (and also where both antenna's are) or doing the firmware update.

Thanks for the heads up, bought one the other day. Any mounting advice on a P4p?

I wonder if mounting on the landing gear of the Phantom form drones might cause compass problems. RID modules are still a new concept with unproven side effects but most of what I've read, and where I placed mine on my two P2V+ was on top of the center (to balance) of the top shell.
