1800WXBRIEF no longer accepting DROTAMS - unless triggered by actual NOTAM

Just got an email from Leidos flight services stating exactly that. Starting October 19, you will no longer be able to self report your UAV flights and have them appear on SkyVector. Only UAV flights that generate a NOTAM will make the cut.

In my opinion, this is a step backwards, not forwards, for aviation safety.

If true thats not good wonder what caused it to many drotams perhaps

Yep that makes sense I guess being flooded with to many drotams & lasting for long periods done them in not really the way they're supposed to work
