Greetings,
FYI
For those who don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a tablet,
I just tested a Acer Iconia 8 Kitkat 4.4.4 8inch tablet. It is white, very thin and light, has finger print
resistant glass, 1280 x 800 Res, which is perfect for the 720P video stream and an Atom Quad Core
Intel CPU, which reduces app crashing.

It works great! Got mine for 104.55 with a coupon at Best Buy. And it runs Dji Ultimate Pilot V3 waypoints app..that is available just for Android..and it works awesome. Can setup waypoints and actions too. speed, altitude, stay time..etc..etc..

A+ on my end.

Good Luck.

How does DJI Pilot perform on it?

Very well and its very responsive on the touch side of things, the screen renders as fast as the data comes in, but like any other tablet, you should use a shade under direct sunlight.

I also disabled lots of bloat software too. "you can do that with kit kat "
and I cached about 25 square miles of google maps too. So It flies...!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing :)

Fausto,
Is it still working with the DJI Go app? I want this tablet too, but have read it's a no-go with the new app. Thanks!

This is the tablet your talking about?

I have said tablet and it's ok with the following exceptions.
The screen glare is 2x times as bad as my ipad
The screen freezes frequently and needs re-booting
There is a noticable lag even though I have nothing else on it
I now have it for a backup only for these reasons. I would call it adaquate only.
