I have a crashed P4P V1. Can I use parts from a P4 (non pro) to at least fix mine and get flying again? My camera was lost in the crash and I am not sure what else to do since the camera costs way too much to fix the drone. I am also wondering if the P4P and regular P4 batteries are the same. I...
I get your angst. I also bought the goggles and am disappointed that I can do more with a cheap Chinese all in one VR AND have less video lag than with the DJI goggles. For me the goggles add a much higher data failure rate and absolutely add lag to the equation. I have only flown with mine...
(You must first connect drone to phone as you normally would, then you disconnect phone and connect to the goggles! This must be done every time you use the goggles)
.......and that is the reason I am not a fan of my goggles. I have literally used them for about 10 minutes total since...
I am glad there is more info than when I was doing mine. I am unsure about what to do about the 12v problems. I lost my P3P last year. If not I would open mine and test a few spots for you.
I actually lost my P3P trying to get some footage of a gas platform explosion last year about 3/4 mile...
I agree. I just don't think most agents will care or know if the photographer has the part 107 or not. I feel you should have it if you are doing anything commercial. That is why I don't advertise myself as being able to take realtor drone photos.
The problem is APPLE. They purposely make their products not play nice with anything they don't sell. I am Android all the way but my wife and 3 daughters are Apple fans so I also go through **** with cables. That whole "not Apple certified" is BS, if you are just charging. They want you to get...
I am a certified real estate appraiser, owner of rental property and I flip houses on the side; and I am a UAS hobby flyer. I have thought of using drone photos in my profession or even starting a real estate photo business. I just honestly think that being a licensed 107 UAS pilot does not...
I guess that is a fix worth trying, but it is just another hack. I had better experience flying with my DIY jerry rig setup with a phone in an extended VR viewer with 8X reading glasses. I TRULY REGRET buying the DJI RE goggles. I had NO lag and great performance from a cheap all-in-one android...
I truly believe that you should NEVER update a working drone. There is NOTHING in it for you. Only for the manufacturer that wants to add more control or limits because of holes found by hackers, adding limits to prevent problems by limiting performance, etc, etc. I almost never upgraded my P3P...
I know that there is no such thing as a USB to HDMI converter. I also get the fact that the goggles are acting as a "tablet" when connected and that they are running some odd version of the DJI software. The problem is IF I used a tablet or a phone via USB I could actually start with the same...
The controller has a mini USB but not HDMI. The USB can go straight to the goggles but you still have to start off with a phone to avoid beginner mode, which is kind of ridiculous. I did get the DJI diopters and they work great, BTW. That is one thing that is positive. The goggles are still not...
You can connect your phone to the goggles? I have had a lot of problems with these goggles. One of the reasons I spent more on the RE edition was so I could watch movies, etc.
