Phantom 3 Standard. Worked beautifully for last year and a half and tried to fly today and when I select "Phantom" in wifi settings (Ipad) it recognizes the drone with a check mark but says, "no internet connection" and that's as far as I can get. Ideas? thanks
Watch your battery status carefully. The props are less efficient the higher you go and I notice a big difference between the house (6000') and a mountain pass overlook I parked at just shy of (9000'). I think the motors have to work much harder at altitude and it really runs down the batteries.
Thanks. I guess the motors (and batteries) have to make up for the loss of prop efficiency. I live near some incredible summits that would make for great video.
Perfectly, so I bought a micro SD to lightning reader, downloaded the chip onto my Ipad 4 and all is well now. The live feed during flight still is poor but playback from the chip is fantastic. Thanks.
I also found the instructions to be confusing. They said something about flying it until it dies when you take it on a plane but then say never fly it until it dies, ever. Anyone?
If you're going to store the batteries and controller for more than a few weeks, fully charged or fully discharged? Do the P3S batteries have "memories?" Thanks
How is the live feed during flight? My live flight feed looks identical to what plays back later whether I download the chip into my Ipad or USB cable download it into windows from the gimbal camera. Something it telling me it's recording this way...
That still shouldn't have any effect on playing back the chip, right? I just got a genuine Apple lightning to micro SD chip reader and the playback is still delayed and jumpy just as it is on the windows machine, so my guess it's recording this way on the chip. Do I need to do something with...
I got the adapter to use my full-sized Ipad on the controller and while the icons are much easier to use, the live video feed is still very delayed. This is a Sept. production Phantom 3 Standard and a 2014 gen Ipad 64GB with Verizon. Is there a setting in the DJI app that lets video become...
